Alexander finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Alexander lost 11-2 to Van Huyse, then responded with a 6-4 win over Emilia Juocys (Chicago, IL). Alexander won 8-4 against Shawnessy Johnson (Newmarket, ON). Alexander went on to lose 6-5 against Angie Melaney (Lakefield, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
