Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON) run at the 2011 Mount Lawn Gord Carroll Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-4 loss to Ontario's Peter Corner.  of the 2011 Mount Lawn Gord Carroll Classic in Whitby, Ontario, Canada; Bice advanced through the quarterfinals with a 8-2 win over John Epping (Toronto, ON).  
 
Bice finished 5-2 in the 29-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bice defeated New York's Brandon Corbett 9-3, then won 7-4 against Ontario's Mike Aprile. Bice went on to lose 9-5 against Cory Heggestad (Barrie, ON). Bice lost 8-2 to Heath McCormick (New York, NY) where Bice responded with a 8-1 win over Tom Worth (Mississauga, ON). Bice won 7-0 against Dave Pallen (St. Catharines, ON), then won 6-1 against Denis Belanger (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Bice earned 7.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Mount Lawn Gord Carroll Classic, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 28th place overall with 64.981 total points. Bice ranks 45th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.360 points earned so far this season.
