Cathy Auld (Mississauga, ON) qualified for the 2011 Southwestern Ontario Womens Charity Cashspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Sarah Reid (Glasgow, SCO). of the 2011 Southwestern Ontario Womens Charity Cashspiel in London, Ontario;

Auld finished 4-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Auld defeated Alison Goring (Toronto, ON) 8-3, then went on to lose 6-5 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). Auld responded with a 8-2 win over Marika Bakewell (London, ON). Auld won 5-3 against Janet McGhee (Uxbridge, ON), then won 6-4 against Tracy Horgan (Sudbury, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Auld earned 3.480 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Southwestern Ontario Womens Charity Cashspiel, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 39th place overall with 29.548 total points.
