Horgan finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan defeated Chrissy Cadorin (Hamilton, ON) 8-6, then won 6-4 against Lisa Farnell (Chaffey's Locks, ON). Horgan went on to lose 6-2 against Middaugh. Horgan lost 6-4 to Cathy Auld (Mississauga, ON) where Horgan responded with a 7-5 win over Leslie Bishop (Sarnia, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Horgan earned 5.800 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Southwestern Ontario Womens Charity Cashspiel, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 24th place overall with 44.240 total points.
