Kirsten Wall (Toronto, ON) finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wall defeated Karen Sagle (Guelph, ON) 8-4, then went on to lose 7-6 against Sarah Reid (Glasgow, SCO). Wall lost 6-4 to Leslie Bishop (Sarnia, ON) where Wall responded with a 5-3 win over Sagle. Wall went on to lose 8-7 against Laura Crocker (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
