Kirsten Wall (Toronto, ON) finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wall defeated Karen Sagle (Guelph, ON) 8-4, then went on to lose 7-6 against Sarah Reid (Glasgow, SCO). Wall lost 6-4 to Leslie Bishop (Sarnia, ON) where Wall responded with a 5-3 win over Sagle. Wall went on to lose 8-7 against Laura Crocker (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 9 of the event schedule, Wall did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 31st to 32nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 39.575 total points. Wall ranks 97th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.825 points earned so far this season.
