Chrissy Cadorin (Hamilton, ON) in the quarterfinals.
McGhee finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McGhee defeated
Cheryl McBain (Ottawa, ON) 7-3, then won
8-4 against
Courtney Hodgson (Guelph, ON) and
11-2 against
Kelly Cochrane (Toronto, ON). McGhee went on to lose
7-6 against
Horgan in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Guelph Womens Cashspiel Championship title, McGhee earned
