Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) won 9-2 over Allison Nimik (Elmvale, ON) in the Final of the OCT Championships, held September 7 - 11, 2011 in Oakville, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Middaugh won 9-0 over Ontario's Kelly Cochrane in the semifinals of the 2011 OCT Championships in Oakville, Ontario; and won 6-2 over Ontario's Julie Hastings in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 OCT Championships in Oakville, Ontario;
 
Middaugh finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Middaugh defeated Julie Reddick (Toronto, ON) 5-3, then won 6-1 against Heather Marshall (Barrie, ON) and 7-4 against Erika Brown (Madison, WI). Middaugh went on to lose 9-5 against Cathy Auld (Mississauga, ON). Middaugh responded with a 5-4 win over Lisa Farnell (Chaffey's Locks, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the OCT Championships Championship title, Middaugh earned 9.500 world rankings points along with the $3,800CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 9th place overall with 79.790 total points. Middaugh ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.500 points earned so far this season.
