Farnell finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Farnell lost 8-3 to Robyn Mattie (Ottawa, ON), droppimg another game, 9-3 to Chrissy Cadorin (Hamilton, ON) where Farnell responded with a 5-4 win over Kirsten Wall (Toronto, ON). Farnell won 6-3 against Middaugh, then won 8-0 against Allison Ross (Montreal, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Farnell earned 6.300 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 34th place overall with 30.560 total points.
