Homan finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Kimberly Mastine (Montreal, PQ) 9-2, then won 6-3 against Eve Belisle (Thurso, PQ) and 10-4 against Nimik. Homan won 8-1 against Jennifer Harvey (Ottawa, ON), then won 7-6 against Tracy Horgan (Sudbury, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, Homan take home 8.100 world rankings points along with the $4,500CDN prize, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 7th place overall with 125.230 total points. Homan ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.100 points earned so far this season.
