Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) qualified for the 2011 Westcoast Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Carl deConinck Smith (Rosetown, SK). of the 2011 Westcoast Curling Classic in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada;

Pierce finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pierce defeated Jason Montgomery (Duncan, BC) 6-5, then won 8-2 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) and 6-3 against Brock Virtue (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Pierce earned 10.950 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Westcoast Curling Classic, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 43rd place overall with 36.868 total points. Pierce ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.210 points earned so far this season.
