Epping went on to lose 6-1 against Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB). Epping responded with a 7-4 win over Jason Gunnlaugson (Beausejour, MB). Epping won 7-4 against Scott Ramsay (Winnipeg, MB), then won 9-6 against Vic Peters (Winnipeg , MB) and 5-4 against Mike Assad (Thunder Bay, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Epping earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canad Inns Prairie Classic, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 7th place overall with 144.448 total points. Epping ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 68.965 points earned so far this season.
