Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) finished 1-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pierce defeated Brent Bawel (Calgary, AB) 8-3, then went on to lose 4-3 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON). Pierce lost 6-1 to Carl deConinck Smith (Rosetown, SK). Pierce lost 7-4 to Claudio Pescia (St. Gallen, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 11 of the event schedule, Pierce did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 47th to 49th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 36.868 total points. Pierce ranks 33rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.210 points earned so far this season.
