Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) run at the 2011 Cactus Pheasant Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-4 loss to Randy Ferbey (Edmonton, AB). of the 2011 Cactus Pheasant Classic in Brooks, Alberta; Martin advanced through the quarterfinals with a 9-3 win over Steve Petryk (Calgary, YK).

Martin finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Matthew Blandford (Cold Lake, AB) 7-0, then won 6-3 against Markku Uusipaavalniemi (Helsinki, FIN) and 6-2 against Ferbey in their final qualifying round match.

Martin earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Cactus Pheasant Classic, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 327.320 total points. Martin ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 71.280 points earned so far this season.
