Kaufman responded with a 7-2 win over Jill Thurston (Winnipeg, MB). Kaufman won 8-3 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kaufman earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Red Deer Curling Classic, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 17th place overall with 94.560 total points.
