Wade White (Edmonton, AB) lost 5-4 to Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) in the Final of the Wainwright Roaming Buffalo Classic, held November 18 - 21, 2011 in Wainwright, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, White won 5-1 over Brad Heidt (Kindersley, SK) in the semifinals of the 2011 Wainwright Roaming Buffalo Classic in Wainwright, Alberta; and won 7-2 over Tom Appelman (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals.
 
White finished 5-2 in the 26-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, White defeated Randy Woytowich (Saskatoon, SK) 6-3, then went on to lose 4-2 against Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). White responded with a 10-1 win over Albert Gerdung (Brooks, AB). White went on to lose 10-5 against Dylan Webster (Sundre, AB). White responded with a 6-0 win over Woytowich. White won 7-2 against Glen Kennedy (Edmonton, AB), then won 9-5 against Robert Schlender (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Wainwright Roaming Buffalo Classic, White take home 9.205 world rankings points along with the $9,000CDN prize, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 62nd place overall with 30.830 total points. White ranks 57th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.460 points earned so far this season.
