Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS) qualified for the 2011 Challenge Casino de Charlevoix playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). of the 2011 Challenge Casino de Charlevoix in Clermont, Quebec;
 
Fitzner-Leblanc finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fitzner-Leblanc defeated Steve Lodge (Brockville, ON) 6-5, then went on to lose 6-0 against Gushue. Fitzner-Leblanc responded with a 4-0 win over Matthew Blandford (Cold Lake, AB). Fitzner-Leblanc won 6-4 against Philippe Lemay (Trois-Rivieres, PQ), then won 5-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Fitzner-Leblanc earned 8.075 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Challenge Casino de Charlevoix.
