Chad Stevens (Dartmouth/Chester, NS) 7-6, then went on to lose 7-1 against Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau/Levis, PQ). MacDougall lost 7-4 to Switzerland's Peter de Cruz where MacDougall responded with a 7-1 win over Stevens. MacDougall went on to lose 7-2 against John Epping (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
