Chyz won 4-3 against Desiree Owen (Grande Prairie, AB), then won 5-4 against Tanilla Doyle (Calgary, AB) and 11-5 against Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK). Chyz won 7-6 against Korea's Ji-Sun Kim in their final qualifying round match.
