Lisa Johnson (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2011 MNP Charity Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN). of the 2011 MNP Charity Classic in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada;
 
Johnson finished 4-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Johnson defeated Wang 9-5, then went on to lose 6-3 against Satsuki Fujisawa (nagano, JPN). Johnson lost 10-9 to Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC) where Johnson responded with a 7-4 win over Jennifer Wickenheiser (Medicine Hatt, AB). Johnson won 7-3 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB), then won 4-3 against Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Johnson earned 4.875 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the MNP Charity Classic, moving up 160 spots the World Ranking Standings into 114th place overall with 4.875 total points. Johnson ranks 50th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.875 points earned so far this season.
