Koe won 6-1 against Robert Schlender (Edmonton, AB), then won 6-3 against Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Koe earned 18.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the GP Car and Home World Cup of Curling, remaining in 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 241.515 total points. Koe ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 83.600 points earned so far this season.
