Grant Olsen (Kamloops, BC) lost 6-3 to Andrew Bilesky (New Westminster , BC) in the Final of the Kamloops Crown of Curling, held October 21 - 24, 2011 at the Kamloops Curling Club in Kamloops, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Olsen won 5-4 over British Columbia's Trevor Perepolkin in the semifinals of the 2011 Kamloops Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada; and won 6-4 over British Columbia's Neil Dangerfield in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 Kamloops Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Olsen finished 4-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Olsen defeated Sebastien Robillard (Vancouver, BC) 8-7, then won 5-2 against Stan Boone (Kamloops, BC). Olsen went on to lose 7-5 against Bryan Miki (New Westminster, BC). Olsen lost 7-6 to Bilesky where Olsen responded with a 9-5 win over British Columbia's Tyler Klymchuk. Olsen won 6-4 against Robillard in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Kamloops Crown of Curling, Olsen take home 2.275 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize. For week 10 of the event schedule, Olsen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Olsen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
