4-3 to Nicole Backe (Vancouver, BC), droppimg another game, 8-3 to Jill Andrews (Invermere, BC) where Ogasawara responded with a 7-3 win over Desiree Borsato (Vernon, BC). Ogasawara went on to lose 5-4 against LeeAnne Ursel (Kelowna, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
