Dean North (Carman, MB) qualified for the 2011 DEKALB Superspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Braeden Moskowy (Regina, SK).

North finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, North lost 8-2 to Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB), then responded with a 6-5 win over Chris Galbraith (Winnipeg, MB). North won 6-3 against Manitoba's Daniel Birchard. North went on to lose 8-1 against Carl deConninck Smith (Rosetown, SK). North responded with a 7-0 win over Mark Hadway (Dauphin, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

North earned 2.295 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel. For week 15 of the event schedule, North did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. North ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
