Sarah Reid (Glasgow, SCO) finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Reid defeated Sweden's Ditte Karlsson 6-2, then won 8-6 against Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Reid went on to lose 7-3 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Reid responded with a 8-0 win over Norway's Pia Trulsen in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 6 of the event schedule, Reid did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Reid ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
