Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) lost 6-5 to Switzerland's Peter de Cruz in the Final of the Curling Masters Champery, held October 21 - 23, 2011 in Champery, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, Brewster won 9-4 over Switzerland's Pascal Hess in the semifinals of the 2011 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland; and won 7-5 over Jan Hauser (Zurich, SUI) in the quarterfinals.
 
Brewster finished 4-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brewster defeated Mario Freiberger (Limmattal, SUI) 4-3, then won 6-5 against Switzerland's Pascal Hess and 8-4 against Norway's Thomas Lovold. Brewster won 5-3 against Norway's Steffen R. Mellemseter in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Curling Masters Champery, Brewster take home 14.985 world rankings points along with the $10,267CDN prize, remaining in 12th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 120.540 total points. Brewster ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 53.650 points earned so far this season.
