Brown went on to lose 6-5 against Spencer. Brown responded with a 5-4 win over Linda Stewart (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Interlake Pharmacy Classic, Brown take home 2.625 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN prize, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 75th place overall with 14.343 total points. Brown ranks 54th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.075 points earned so far this season.
