Dumontelle responded with a 5-4 win over Robbie Gordon (Sudbury, ON). Dumontelle won 1-0 against Ontario's Tracy Fleury, then won 9-3 against Northern Ontario's Trevor Bonot in their final qualifying round match.
Dumontelle earned 1.290 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Kia Curling Classic Superspiel, moving up 22 spots the World Ranking Standings into 159th place overall with 5.415 total points. Dumontelle ranks 94th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.290 points earned so far this season.
