Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) lost 4-3 to Wisconsin's Craig Brown in the Final of the Kia Curling Classic Superspiel, held October 27 - 30, 2011 at the YNCU Curling Centre in Sault Ste.Marie, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Jacobs won 6-2 over Northern Ontario's Bryan Burgess in the semifinals of the 2011 Kia Curling Classic Superspiel in Sault Ste.Marie, Ontario, Canada; and won 9-1 over Larry Pallot (Goulais River, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Jacobs finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Pallot 5-3, then won 8-6 against Wisconsin's John Benton and 7-4 against Ontario's Mike Jakubo in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Kia Curling Classic Superspiel, Jacobs take home 3.010 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 9th place overall with 138.790 total points. Jacobs ranks 9th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 47.680 points earned so far this season.
