Matt Dumontelle (Sudbury, ON) qualified for the 2011 Kia Curling Classic Superspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Wisconsin's Craig Brown. of the 2011 Kia Curling Classic Superspiel in Sault Ste.Marie, Ontario, Canada;

Marie, ON), then responded with a 8-3 win over Northern Ontario's Eric Harnden. Dumontelle went on to lose 6-2 against Ben Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, ON). Dumontelle responded with a 5-4 win over Robbie Gordon (Sudbury, ON). Dumontelle won 1-0 against Ontario's Tracy Fleury, then won 9-3 against Northern Ontario's Trevor Bonot in their final qualifying round match.
