Galusha finished 5-2 in the 31-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Galusha defeated Delia DeJong (Grande Prairie, AB) 7-6, then won 10-9 against Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB). Galusha went on to lose 11-6 against Nadine Chyz (Calgary, AB). Galusha responded with a 9-2 win over Chantelle Eberle (Regina, SK). Galusha won 6-3 against Holly Whyte (Edmonton, AB). Galusha went on to lose 9-6 against Bernard. Galusha responded with a 7-4 win over Robyn Silvernagle (Meadow Lake, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Galusha earned 4.305 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Boundary Ford Curling Classic, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 85th place overall with 12.430 total points.
