Kelly Skinner (Brandon, MB) qualified for the 2011 Manitoba Lotteries Men's Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Todd Birr (Mankato, MN). of the 2011 Manitoba Lotteries Men's Curling Classic in Brandon;

Skinner finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skinner defeated Pete Fenson (Bemidji, MN) 6-5, then went on to lose 6-5 against Terry McNamee (Brandon, MB). Skinner responded with a 5-4 win over David Bohn (Winnipeg, MB). Skinner won 5-3 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Skinner earned 2.745 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Manitoba Lotteries Men's Curling Classic. For week 8 of the event schedule, Skinner did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Skinner ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
