Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) run at the 2011 Schmirler Curling Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Liudmilla Privivkova (Moscow, RUS). of the 2011 Schmirler Curling Classic in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; Bernard advanced through the quarterfinals with a 7-4 win over Chelsea Carey (Morden, MB).

Bernard finished 4-1 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bernard defeated Saskatchewan's Lorraine Schneider 6-2, then won 8-2 against Brett Barber (Biggar, SK) and 6-4 against Robyn Silvernagle (Meadow Lake, SK). Bernard went on to lose 9-0 against Privivkova. Bernard responded with a 7-5 win over Barb Spencer (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Bernard earned 14.175 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Schmirler Curling Classic, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 10th place overall with 90.762 total points. Bernard ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 35.575 points earned so far this season.
