Sheri Pickering (Calgary, AB) run at the 2011 Vancouver Island Shootout came to an end in the semifinals with a 4-3 loss to Ayumi Ogasawara (Kariuzawa, JPN). of the 2011 Vancouver Island Shootout in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada; Pickering advanced through the quarterfinals with a 5-2 win over Marla Mallett (New Westminster, BC). of the 2011 Vancouver Island Shootout in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada;

Pickering finished 2-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pickering defeated Nicole Montgomery (Maple Ridge, BC) 4-3, then won 6-1 against Kristy Lewis (Vancouver, BC). Pickering went on to lose 10-3 against Nicole Backe (Vancouver, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Pickering earned 1.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Vancouver Island Shootout. For week 13 of the event schedule, Pickering did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Pickering ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
