Roselyn Craig (Duncan, BC) won 8-6 over Ayumi Ogasawara (Kariuzawa, JPN) in the Final of the Vancouver Island Shootout, held November 11 - 13, 2011 at the Juan de Fuca Curling Club in Victoria, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Craig won 8-6 over Nicole Backe (Vancouver, BC) in the semifinals of the 2011 Vancouver Island Shootout in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada; and won 6-4 over Dana Ferguson (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 Vancouver Island Shootout in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Craig finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craig defeated Kesa Van Osch (Victoria, BC) 9-3, then went on to lose 5-4 against Penny Shantz (Vancouver, BC). Craig responded with a 4-3 win over Marla Mallett (New Westminster, BC). Craig won 6-3 against Brandi Tinkler (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Vancouver Island Shootout Championship title, Craig earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 39 spots the World Ranking Standings into 120th place overall with 5.140 total points. Craig ranks 81st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.780 points earned so far this season.
