In their opening game, McKee defeated Jerry Chudley (Neepawa, MB) 6-5, then won 6-4 against Vic Peters (Winnipeg , MB) and 5-2 against Carl deConinck Smith (Rosetown, SK). McKee went on to lose 6-2 against Carruthers. McKee responded with a 7-3 win over Peters. McKee went on to lose 6-3 against Laycock. McKee responded with a 5-4 win over William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

McKee earned 9.205 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Whites Drug Store Classic, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 64th place overall with 28.231 total points. McKee ranks 50th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.605 points earned so far this season.
