Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) qualified for the 2011 Whites Drug Store Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Darrell McKee (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2011 Whites Drug Store Classic in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada;

Laycock finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Laycock defeated Derek Boe (Regina, SK) 9-2, then went on to lose 9-6 against Terry McNamee (Brandon, MB). Laycock responded with a 7-2 win over Claudio Pescia (St. Gallen, SUI). Laycock won 5-3 against Al Schick (Regina, SK), then won 6-3 against McKee in their final qualifying round match.
