Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC) finished 1-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scott defeated Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) 8-7, then went on to lose 4-3 against Marilou Richter (Vancouver, BC). Scott lost 7-3 to Chelsea Carey (Morden, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
