Advancing directly to the semifinals, Pierce won 6-4 over Bryan Miki (New Westminster, BC) to advance to the championship game. of the 2011 Cloverdale Cash Spiel in Surrey, British Columbia;
 
Pierce finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pierce defeated British Columbia's Mel Steffin 12-4, then won 11-0 against Josh Hozack (Victoria, BC) and 8-5 against Tselousov. Pierce won 7-6 against Bryan Kedziora (Maple Ridge, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Cloverdale Cash Spiel, Pierce take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN prize, remaining in 64th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 19.408 total points. Pierce ranks 42nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.750 points earned so far this season.
