Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB) won 4-2 over Barb Spencer (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the One Insurance Classic, held September 29 - October 3, 2011 in Selkirk, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Brown won 6-0 over Liza Park (Brandon, MB) in the semifinals
 
Brown finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown lost 5-2 to Kelsey Boettcher (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 6-3 win over Meghan Armit (Winnipeg, MB). Brown won 8-2 against Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-5 against Erika Sigurdson (Stonewall, MB) and 9-4 against Chelsea Carey (Morden, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the One Insurance Classic Championship title, Brown earned 4.450 world rankings points along with the $4,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 22 spots the World Ranking Standings into 73rd place overall with 11.718 total points. Brown ranks 37th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.450 points earned so far this season.
