Gousseau finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gousseau defeated Reed Sutton (Edmonton, AB) 6-5, then won 12-3 against Tristan Thiessen (Lethbridge, AB). Gousseau went on to lose 7-4 against Scott Smith ( Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
