Koe went on to lose 10-8 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB). Koe lost 7-5 to Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) where Koe responded with a 7-4 win over Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Koe earned 9.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 16 of the event schedule, Koe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
