Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN) finished 6-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stjerne defeated Thomas Dufour (Chamonix, FRA) 11-3, then won 7-3 against Ritvars Gulbis (Riga, LAT). Stjerne went on to lose 8-3 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Stjerne responded with a 6-5 win over Jiri Snitil (Prague, CZE). Stjerne won 7-4 against Joel Retornaz (Cortina, ITA), then won 5-2 against David Murdoch (Lockerbie, SCO) and 8-6 against Germany's Christopher Bartsch. Stjerne went on to lose 7-6 against Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI). Stjerne lost 6-4 to Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Stjerne earned 30.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Le Gruyere European Curling Championships, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 30th place overall with 74.942 total points. Stjerne ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 52.442 points earned so far this season.
