Snitil went on to lose 7-2 against Thomas Dufour (Chamonix, FRA). Snitil responded with a 6-4 win over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Snitil won 7-6 against Joel Retornaz (Cortina, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

Snitil earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Le Gruyere European Curling Championships, moving up 38 spots the World Ranking Standings into 53rd place overall with 39.482 total points. Snitil ranks 42nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 23.482 points earned so far this season.
