Konno went on to lose 10-7 against Danielle Buchbinder (Buffalo, NY). Konno lost 9-5 to Alex Leichter (Wayland, MA) where Konno responded with a 7-6 win over Andrew Ernst (Seattle, WA). Konno went on to lose 11-4 against Peter Stolt (Plymouth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
