Lawton finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawton defeated Mandy Selzer (Balgonie, SK) 6-2, then won 8-7 against Darlene Gillies (Kerrobert, SK) and 8-2 against Robyn Silvernagle (Meadow Lake, SK). Lawton won 9-5 against Chantelle Eberle (Regina, SK). Lawton went on to lose 8-7 against Jolene Campbell (Humboldt, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Saskatchewan Scotties, Lawton take home 5.800 world rankings points, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 234.200 total points. Lawton ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 88.310 points earned so far this season.
