Allison Ross (Montreal, PQ) lost 10-3 to Marie-France Larouche (Quebec, PQ) in the Final of the Quebec Scotties, held January 24 - 29, 2012 in Kenogami, Quebec.
 
Ross finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ross defeated Marie-Christine Cantin (Quebec, PQ) 6-5, then won 5-4 against Larouche. Ross went on to lose 10-5 against Kimberly Mastine (Boucherville, PQ). Ross lost 8-4 to Larouche where Ross responded with a 10-1 win over Sian Canavan (Montreal, PQ). Ross won 9-3 against Julie Hamel (Kenogami, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Quebec Scotties, Ross take home 2.500 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Ross did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ross ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
