Smith-Dacey finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Smith-Dacey defeated Sarah Rhyno (Halifax, NS) 6-3, then won 9-5 against Coralie Duchemin (Sydney, NS) and 8-2 against Jocelyn Nix (Kentville, NS). Smith-Dacey won 9-8 against Mattatall. Smith-Dacey went on to lose 7-6 against Kelly MacIntosh (Dartmouth, NS). Smith-Dacey responded with a 8-3 win over Colleen Pinkney (Truro, NS). Smith-Dacey won 6-3 against Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Nova Scotia Scotties Championship title, Smith-Dacey earned 4.000 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Smith-Dacey did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Smith-Dacey ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
