Jay Tuson (Victoria, BC) finished 4-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tuson defeated Brian Windsor (Kamloops, BC) 5-4, then won 8-3 against Steve Waatainen (Nanaimo, BC) and 5-2 against Jay Wakefield (New Westminster, BC). Tuson went on to lose 12-6 against Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC). Tuson lost 6-5 to Jay Peachey (New Westminster, BC) where Tuson responded with a 8-7 win over Windsor. Tuson went on to lose 9-4 against Wakefield in their final qualifying round match.
