Jakubo won 13-4 against Patrick Gelinas (Mattawa, NONT), then won 7-6 against Jacobs and 6-1 against Tim Phillips (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Jakubo won 6-4 against Jeff Currie (Thunder Bay, NONT), then won 9-3 against Colin Koivula (Thunder Bay, NONT). Jakubo went on to lose 6-3 against Mike Assad (Thunder Bay, NONT). Jakubo responded with a 12-11 win over Robbie Gordon (Sudbury, NONT). Jakubo won 3-2 against David MacInnes (Schumacher, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
