Keith Ryan (Labrador City, NL) qualified for the 2012 NL Provincial Tankard playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Ken Peddigrew (St. John's, NL). of the 2012 NL Provincial Tankard in Carol, Newfoundland / Labrador;

Ryan finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ryan defeated Brian Mercer (Labrador City, NL) 9-3, then won 8-2 against Peddigrew and 11-4 against Donnette Turpin (Labrador City, NL). Ryan went on to lose 5-4 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Ryan responded with a 8-3 win over Gary Wensman (Labrador City, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Ryan earned 2.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the NL Provincial Tankard, moving up 305 spots the World Ranking Standings into 285th place overall with 2.000 total points. Ryan ranks 218th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.000 points earned so far this season.
